Kevin Troy currently focuses his practice on the representation of charter schools in matters involving civil rights violations, school funding issues, labor and employment disputes, and writs and appeals. Kevin is an experienced advocate and civil litigator managing complex litigation for and against public and private entities. Kevin has handled general administrative and regulatory hearings and trials in state and federal court and the Court of Appeal. Prior to law school, Kevin worked as an economist, designing economic models to gauge the cost-effectiveness of proposed federal regulations.
Kevin graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from Wake Forest University, and later obtained his J.D. from Harvard Law School. Prior to joining Young, Minney & Corr, Kevin worked as a litigator for firms in Manhattan, Shanghai, and the Bay Area. He reads Mandarin fluently and previously worked as a Mandarin legal translator.
