César Alvarado is experienced in handling all aspects of charter development, litigation, labor and employment matters. César represents clients in administrative hearings, trials and appeals. Prior to joining Young, Minney & Corr, LLP, César served as senior counsel handling all aspects of complex civil litigation, employment and products liability matters–including jury trials–on behalf of multiple corporations.
César is the proud father of two charter school children and serves on the advisory board for a local non-profit provider of after-school care for low-income children. In his spare time, César serves as an adjunct professor for the UC Berkeley School of Law and works with UCLA’s Riordan Foundation, seeking to encourage minority and low-income students to obtain advanced professional legal and business degrees.
César graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he is a Hall of Fame inductee in the Anderson School of Management’s Riordan Foundation for his pro-bono work. César is a native of El Salvador and is fluent in Spanish.
