Haley Dumas’s practice focuses on advising public school employers on labor and employment issues, including leaves of absence, wage and hour laws, employee discipline, employee investigations, employment contracts, and employment policies.
Before joining Young, Minney & Corr in 2021, Haley represented clients in various employment and business litigation disputes. In addition, she represented clients in state and federal court for insurance coverage actions. Haley received her undergraduate degree in Criminology and Justice Studies from California State University San Marcos. She subsequently earned her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as an executive editor for the San Diego International Law Journal. Haley also spent a semester at King’s College London studying international law during law school.
