2020 Charter Leadership Forum

EdTec and Young, Minney, & Corr, LLP (YM&C) are once again partnering to deliver the latest fiscal, operational, legal, and legislative updates, along with expert advice, to help you make critical management decisions that will set up your school for success in 2021.

During our first virtual Charter Leadership Forum, our experts will share strategic guidance in the following areas:

Charter renewal and accountability requirements

We will walk through upcoming accountability requirements such as the Budget Overview for Parents due in December and the LCAP and Annual Updates due in late June so your school is prepared to submit quality plans. We will also provide clarity on the impact of AB1505 on charter renewal.

Financial planning

Our presenter team of charter law and finance experts will share recommendations for budget scenario planning including financial implications of COVID-19, minimum wage, and special education.

School reopening

We’ll discuss how to prepare to navigate between distance and hybrid learning models as well as address school insurance policies and what schools should be doing to mitigate the risk of COVID-related liabilities.
